I have only good things to say about Dr. Scholl's. During college, I developed a painful hard lump on the bottom of my heel from walking around barefoot. I ignored it for a few weeks, hoping it would go away but it just got worse and worse. Walking became very painful. I couldn't place any pressure on my heel and had to walk on my toes.
I finally went to a podiatrist several weeks later and learned that it was called a plantar wart. After that, I just went to the drugstore to get a box of Dr. Scholl's instead of paying him to treat it (he had terrible patient manners). My treatment took about a week and a half or two weeks.
Inside is a sheet of little adhesive dots containing salicylic acid and cushioned pads to cover the area while the acid works. The acid basically burn the wart and kills the skin around it (it's the same stuff in Oxy Pads and acne treatments, but stronger). After that time, the wart just comes off when changing pads because of the adhesive. I won't disgust you with the details, but I was grateful for discovering this product and healing my foot. You may feel a little mild stinging at first from the acid, but it's nothing compared to the discomfort of the plantar. Effective, fast, and highly recommended.

before i looked up alternatives, i only knew of the wart removers in the form of the bandage strips and the freeze off kits, which i've always been leery of. i used the bandage strips many times for 2 small warts that are on an awkward place on my knuckle. the problem with the strips was that you had to cut them to fit the wart correctly, and some of them you couldn't even cut because they were already pre-attached to the bandage. this usually caused the surrounding healthy skin to be completely corroded away by the salicylic acid. and usually when the wart got really small, the bandage wouldn't adhere to the wart well anymore because of the placement of the wart, and then in 3 months the wart would pop back up. i used those bandages over the course of about 3 years and every 3-9 months the warts would reappear. truly horrible!
this product, however, was great. i don't know why people give bad reviews, the gel goes on and in the area you want it to (very important), and within seconds it is dry and will stay intact until you peel it off later in the day. it really is simple and very effective, and i can't even describe how much better it is than the bandages!

I highly, highly recommend this product! It removed my wart in two weeks (with less-than-consistent usage). I recommend using the isolation method described in another review as a precaution, but I didn't notice any damage to the skin around my former wart. Also, remember to alternate treatment with airing out (if nothing else, letting the wart dry shows you how the treatment is working).

A friend of mine recommended another product and I somehow ended up buying this one too. All I can say is that it did what it was supposed to and did not leave a mark. May have taken a little longer, but that's okay, I like the fact that the ingredients are all natural. Took about five weeks to be completely finished with maybe five days of it being extra for good measure.

My daughter had a cluster of at least 14 warts on her foot with black dots! I took her to the doctor and he recommended this duofilm. I put this on her foot every day. On the 4th day I started picking at it......to remove it. Each day we would pick at it and apply duofilm! Within 2 WEEKS........she was wart free!!!! Amazing Stuff, 2009-09-27
So far this stuff has worked amazingly well. I've been using it for almost a month and most of my warts have disappeared or are disappearing. Now it could just be natural that my body finally realised i've got a virus and started getting rid of it or it was this stuff. But before using this, I'd pretty much tried all of the over the counter products available and they just kept making my warts worse. I'd definitely give it a try....
