I tried several other ear plug brands and found them to be too uncomfortable. Instead of not being able to sleep from noise, I couldn't sleep from the feeling of something being in my ear. My sister told me about this brand so I tried them. They are very comfortable. No where near the level of foreign-ness as the other brands. They are very smooth so if you are a side sleeper, like I am, the one in the ear you sleep on could ease out. But to me, that does not diminish the worth of the product. I get great sleep even with a husband that sounds like a buzz saw, a loud air conditioner and loud air filter. I really like this product and will continue to buy them.
The company has also created a really cute iPhone app for ladies with snoring husbands :)

My husband snores, so I use these earplugs to sleep every night. I have tried many kinds, and these are the best I have found. They do not block out the snoring entirely (I have never found a kind that does that), but they 'take the edge off' so that I can fall asleep.
Another think I like about them is this: Since they are foam, they let your ears 'breathe' a little more than the wax or silicone ones. Sometimes, wearing earplugs to bed at night can lead to sinus infections and other nasty stuff, but I have never had a problem with this foam kind.
Highly recommended by someone who has tried them all.

Great for the restless sleeper, 2010-06-21
Nothing else will do! I sleep alone (actually, with a purring cat) and run a white-noise generating air purifier at night, but I've got a disturbed sleep pattern, so when it's windy or hailing, when my downstairs neighbor runs her thrumming ceiling fan, or my upstairs neighbor has his occasional party on a Friday night, or the cat holds an early morning caterwauling session, these are miraculous.
Of course I find it particularly hard to sleep in new places even when it's relatively quiet, so these are a travel lifesaver. I suspect that part of the benefit is the familiarity of the sensation (acupressure, anyone?); I've needed them when camping in a completely noiseless desert wilderness because I'm simply not used to the silence, and then there are the early risers clanging around making coffee. Loud noises do come through, but only very quietly--a slammed door, a loud alarm clock, a shout, that kind of thing--but it blocked out my air conditioner condenser while I was getting used to it.
Of course there are a few downsides. You won't hear an alarm clock unless it's right next to you or turned up very loud. I use a dawn simulator, which typically works just fine because it wakes me up with light, not sound. Also, I have to remember to tell people I'm staying or camping with that I'm using earplugs; otherwise, gentle efforts to wake me up will fail.
I usually get 2-3 uses out of a pair, which means a 30 pair box lasts 4 or so months. After a few nights the pores in the silicone seem to get blocked and it's hard to get them to stay in my ear. However, I'm a very ear-waxy sort of person, so your mileage may vary.

Well, i got some water in my ear while i was washing my hair and it stayed stuck in there for about a day. I was really worried about how to get it out and i tried some of everything (ie: banging my head on the side, sleeping on the ear, pouring water down it, and blowdrying it) I was afraid that I might have to go to the ear doctor. Luckily i looked online and found out about this product. I went to the store, bought it and after dropping a few drops in the clogged ear, the water came out :)

I'm sorry to say this, but these earplugs cannot compare to Mack's Snore Blockers. Sound Asleep are very similar to Mack's Snore Blockers Mack's Snore BlockersTM Ear Plugs - 12-pair Box but seem to not reduce the snoring stuff. I'm thinking that these are more useful for airplanes or just masking light sounds. I tried them out and while they were comfortable, I could clearly hear everything in the room, which was not the desired effect. So either I have amazing hearing or more likely, these ear plugs don't have the same level of quality of masking loud snoring or sounds at about 32db, as the Snore Blockers do.

This product does exactly what it says. I had an ear ring torn out by a baby, and was looking into getting surgery to fix my torn earlobe. I absolutely hate clip on earrings, and I was dreading payng 500.00 which I don' have to fix my torn lobe. I'm glad I found this product, now I can wear any earring I want, and no one knows the difference just stick it on and go. Love it.
