You don't even feel them in your ears, which is common with other ones. They block more sound than average ones as well. I don't want to use any other product. I'm sold

These ear plugs work great for my little boy who has tubes in his ears. We use them at bath time and swimming. I normally pay $3 (or more) a pair for the putty buddy type ear plugs. These are just as good, if not better. 6 pairs for the price listed is amazing. Will be back to buy more when needed!

I have always had really bad ear pain when I fly. It gets so bad that I will cry every time & worry my eardrums will burst. That is until I found these life savers! I will NEVER travel again without them!!! Now I can fly without ANY ear pain at all. It even helps prevent stuffed ear syndrom - when your ears are plugged & it takes a while to clear them so you can hear. They do block some noise so having a conversation might be a bit difficult, but you can take them out once you are at the max altitude & put them back in as you get ready to descend. It also could block out that screaming child or rowdy adult near you. They are comfy enough to leave in the entire trip too. I have small ears so the childrens size is best for me, but I plan on using them on my 1 1/2 year old daughter when we travel this Christmas. I tell EVERY parent I know about these when they fly with their kids. A definite MUST HAVE!!!

Excellent, and a Solution for the Side Sleeping Problem, 2010-03-30
I have oddly shaped ear canals and none of the foam earplugs ever stayed in for me. These fit perfectly and stayed in all night. They do an excellent job blocking noise, and as far as I can see, will last forever if you clean them often.
The last commentator made an excellent point - the only problem I encountered with these ear plugs is that when you sleep on your side, they jam uncomfortably into your ear because they stick out. An easy solution for side sleepers is to take out the removable string permanently, and chop of the little yellow holders from the plugs with scissors. You will be able to put the plugs in and remove them.

These earplugs are a little hard to push out in a child's ear. Child knows they are there & wants to play with them. Our 4 year old son thought they were small pieces of playdoo and refuses to wear them.

I went to my doctor thinking I had a sinus condition and my ears were involved internally. I could not hear out of my right ear. I have had a series of colds this spring and I was certain I had some type of ear infection or sinus condition. Well she looked in my ears and said they were plugged with wax. She tried flushing them in the office with this huge metal syringe thing and warm water and Hydrogen Peroxide. It didn't work. She said try putting a few drops of Hyrdogen Peroxide in the ear at home or I could try the Debrox. I have heard that Peroxide is essentially the same thing but the Debrox came in a kit with a bottle that had a long applicator tip and a small rubber bulb. I put a squirt in my right ear as I leaned to the left. I was able to watch TV believe it or not. I could hear it popping and bubbling. I waiting 10 minutes or so then I tried the rubber bulb to suck out the ear. I know you are supposed to flush it but I wasn't aware of it. Well...this tuff disolves the ear wax into this really greasy liquid. I was able to suck out a ton of the stuff and my hearing started to come back. I tried a Q-tip and was able to extract quite a bit of hard ear wax too. I can hear great now. My only issue I am not sure I got it all and short of going to the doctor and having her look inside I'm not sure how you know...I think I will try again tonight. Maybe if the liquid doesn't get greasy then all the wax is out. Anyway...it worked great. A little gross and be careful you have paper towels and the like around as the ear grease (gag me) can stain. Good luck.

The Best Earplugs, 2010-07-30
These are great earplugs for blocking out ambient noises, such as wind, crickets, and birds. If you have housemates, it will greatly reduce the sounds of their prancing around the house while you're trying to sleep. And if you have an air-conditioner that turns on and off throughout the night, then these plugs should make those noises go away.
But they probably won't be powerful enough to filter out a car alarm, a Fire Engine siren, or a power lawnmower.
It will also help reduce the sound of a loud sleeping partner, though not all snoring may be masked.
They are easy to insert--much easier for me than the foam ones, and once inside are easy to adjust. I can wear them fairly loosely at night when there's hardly any noise, and in the morning when the first Blue Jay wakes me, tighten them up and surpress most of the loud 5:00 a.m. bird chirps.
I also carry a pack of these when I'm travelling--helps a lot with the jet engines and high probability of screaming babies. When the flight attendant comes by with your drink order, you can pull out one of the plugs half-way, or just use your lip-reading skills
