 Inexpensive, yet effective and durable, 2010-07-18
I was impressed. The cost was trivial.....yet the picks are durable and feel substantial in your hands. They work beautifully, with many of the tools maintaining a sharp carving surface. I liked the hatch marked and hexagonal handles which made each tool easy to hold and use. Even when they were wet with slip or sweat.
My only complaint would be that some of the ends were repetitive or functionally useless. But with 12 tools, you can afford to toss a few meaningless bits away and still have an exceptionally useful set that comes at a great price.
I highly recommend them.

I'm a recent non-smoker, so I'll spare you all the "gospel" that my counterparts generally spout, and simply say these are a great fix for anyone trying to quit.
I've been off cigarettes for 6 weeks now, and I carry a little container of these with me to take the edge off, and it's great. They don't splinter like other toothpicks, the tate is fine, and best of all, there's no calories.

This is my second order for the brushpicks. My wife loves them and I use them also. They do a great job of getting between your teeth with the tiny bristles and probably are at least as effective as flossing and much easier to do.
Flossing takes both hands, a mirror and a sink...... the brushpicks only require your thumb and index finger.
It is safer to brushpick while driving than text messaging!!!

I bought the DenTek Sonic Pick in an effort to prevent plaque build-up. It is relatively easy to use, and the built in light is nice. NOTE: My DenTek arrived with a dead battery. I called the toll free phone number on the package, and explained the problem. Their representative promptly sent me a new battery. I am very satisfied with this product, and with the attitude of the DenTek representative.

An Excellent Value, 2010-05-18
While these aren't what I'd call "dental" quality, they're an excellent value for the money. I use them for prying small objects out of tight places, & they serve that function very well. They're sturdy, have reasonably long handles, & differently shaped heads, all of which makes them useful for my purpose. And at less than $1.00 each, they're a great buy. However, for actual use as a dental pick, I wouldn't be able to use them. The heads are too short, & not nearly thin enough. I'll stick with my "real" dental picks, which are finished finer, but which are much more expensive.

My dentist used to give these out in her goodie bag for patients. I became addicted to them as they fit perfectly under my bridges. The ridges work as well or better than floss and they are much better than toothpicks for cleaning between the teeth. After she quit giving them away I finally found them on Amazon. They are a little pricey but well worth it.
