This is a specialty item so you can search all over for good prices. Although the price at Amazon wasn't the cheapest, I knew it was a company that I could rely on if I had a problem with the product. I bought the actual CBEFM (monitor)from another website and it came damaged. It was so hard trying to return it after personally speaking to the head of the company at his dinner table! I am a school nurse and purchased the Omron automatic BP cuff for use in the clinic. It is simple enough that staff can take their own blood pressures when I am not there. I really like that it has an a/c adapter. It is very accurate.

This is the best scale I've had, definitely worth it. The design looks very nice. It'll accommodate big feet, up to about 12.5 inches long (no more toes hanging off)! It's low to the ground and doesn't wobble when you're stepping on--great for people who are a little unsteady. The lighted display and big numbers are perfect for that early morning measure, and it measures down to a tenth of a pound. You can't change the weight by standing differently or shifting around, so it seems a lot more accurate than the regular dial scales. I can't think of anything I'd change.

I am very satisfied with the unit I purchased. My doctor advised me to purchase a BP unit to monitor my BP on a daily basis since having been diagmosed with high BP. It has a place for two persons to monitor their BP and my wife has been using the unit also. It came with sofeware and USB cable to download the daily/weekly/monthly results to the computer which can then be looked at in chart form or listing of the readings. The software allows you to output the results to a PDF file which I then print it out and take to my next doctor's appointment.
