I used to like the One-a-Day Weight Support with EGCG (or some green-tea acronym) until they reformulated it as "Advanced" and added stimulants, which made my heart race. Ugh! Been trying numerous drugstore and health food store vitamins since then, but could never really tell any difference in skin, hair, how I felt, etc. These vitamins are now my favorite. They give me lots of energy and feeling of well-being with not a trace of rapid heartbeat. And I'm not sure, but I think my appetite is not as strong when I'm taking them! Plus, they are reasonably priced and available in stores. Two energetic thumbs up!

So far, this has been the best protein drink I have tried. And I have tried alot -- I work in a supplement store and can get discounts, so I experiment OFTEN. I have a sensitive gut, so usually my results are disappointing.... This is the first time, that has not happened (considering how much you have to use). It has also filled me up long enough to consider it a meal. Yay, low blood sugar girl! And it has also caused me to loose weight (2#/wk). Yay!
I believe the fermentation in the soy is a key [healthy] ingredient. I do not use the full 8T, instead using 5-6T. I've just ordered my second can fm Amazon (best price ever and free 2nd-day shipping)! It makes sense this stuff started over in Europe. They always approach things fm a different standpoint.
Threshold Enterprises (a huge wholesale supplement/cosmetic/vitamin distributor in US) determined that for their month of June, Almased was their absolute top best seller. This is what encouraged me to try it.

I bought this after doing a bunch of research. I wanted a smoke that would give me a good buzz but was totally legal. Damiana, Passion Flower, Wormwood, Scullcap, mugwort is the perfect combination. If you want to get a little sillier, add some Wild Dagga to the mix. It's a nice calm relaxing feeling. You feel a head/body change for sure. The Mayan's smoked Damiana by itself and with other herbs. Try it! It's actually a lot of fun. Note: It does react differently with different people. Some people that smoked my blend felt awesome afterwards. Other people tried it and it did nothing for them. A few people went to "coo-cooville" for a couple of hours. Make your mix with mostly Damiana, smoke a little, then sit back and enjoy. The "Euphoric" feeling only lasts on me for about 30 minutes.

I enjoy all the various Atkins shakes, but especially the two or three chocolate-flavored ones. Poured over ice and accompanied by a small handful of macadamia nuts, your snack urge will be completely satisfied with only a minimal addition to your daily carb count.
