My use of these strips is Definitely paying off. As long as my wife doesn't complain about my snoring, I'll keep on using them. The "Extra" width of these strips make them stronger at pulling the outside skin of my nose apart. I didn't see it mentioned on the box, but these are of the "large" size. I'd been using the Breathe Right normal "Large" size for awhile and they were working fine, but I just wanted to give these "Extra" size a try. I'm not sure if I really need the "Extra" strength strips or not.

I have had allergy shots which helped but did not solve my sinus issues. So I need to irrigate. I notice some reviewers commented that after buying a system with packets they switched to plain salt water (whether with the squeeze bottles or the Neti Pots). That is fine for some, but not for me, because regular salt water burns my nostrils and makes things worse. The Pre-Mixed Packets are a blessing. Irrigation is not magic, but if done regularly and properly, it is a very helpful part of a healthy nasal cleaning regime, just like flossing is for dental hygiene. I really wish I didn't also have to brush my teeth, sometimes use special oral rinses, etc, but then I don't like spending money at the dentist. Similarly, I prefer not to get sinus infections, and make special trips to my doctor because of them. Better to use a quality product like Neil-med Sinus Rinse.

For over 10 years, the first thing I did after waking up was take a 24 hour Claritin D allergy medicine tablet and use the prescribed nasal sprays to help with my allergies. Then I would continue to blow my nose until the decongestant finally stopped the runny nose.

Great Price for a Great Product, 2010-08-27
I've suffered for years with food allergies, primarily yeast containing foods such as breads, wine, beer. After consuming just a few sips of wine I would completely loose my sense of smell due to upper sinus inflammation. Loss of smell equals loss of taste also. I could literally not taste anything. My doc put me on a regimen of Zytec in the morning and prescription Singulair at bedtime. It is so nice to wake up and go outside and actually enjoy the smell of the fresh air and flower blooms. I get these through Amazon taking advantage of subscribe and save. They average half the price of what I would pay at Wal-Mart or even at the big name drug stores when they have them on sale. I was taking Claratin sporadically before but it was costing too much so I discovered these and now I take them every day and feel great. I carry some of these in a little capsule on my keychain and occasionally I will double up and take another during the day if I feel my allergies kicking in. As far as I can tell these work exactly the same as Claratin, but at a fraction of the cost. Some people I know still get a bit drowsy when they take these but not me, I take them every night before bed anyways because my allergies are usually worse at night.
