I enjoyed using this henna! It was fine, easy to mix and my designs have lasted well. I used different instructions than the ones sent, but I am very happy with this product. Yes, you need to leave it on a long time, as with all henna that is safe henna, you leave it on as long as you can up to overnight, in order for your design to last. If you take care of it, you can make it last up to 3 weeks! Please read about henna before buying and playing with it. Some have dangerous chemicals. Especially beware of the black henna... make sure you are buying safe products. Read, research, be informed. Beachcombers has lots of information on their site. They do a good job!

This kit is great for simple henna tattoos. I did no want to make henna a "career" or anything, just wanted it to be fun. The book included in this kit is perfect for the beginner. It was obviously written with english as a first language unlike many translated indian books.

I know my henna and henna products. Their moroccan blunt needle is as close as it gets and I don't think you can find that anywhere else online. The jaquard bottle and its tips make intricate designs a breeze. I've also shopped around quite a bit and these prices can't be beat. The henna cones are great. The oil is great. They even include a small booklet that tells you everything you need to know about henna, henna products and henna designs. This kit is great for a party. You can enjoy these temporary tatoos with friends and family or keep them all to yourself. If you've never tried henna, it takes a little practice, but it's very easy to do. Like the fact that this ink is thinner than what I have used. Better color quality than other blacks I have used.. A little goes a long way. Loads well in gun. Very impressed. Skin seems to take ink better/easier.

 great starter kit, 2010-04-06
I bought this kit for my husband, who is an apprenticing tattooist. It has ALMOST everything you need to get started. You will definitely still need to purchase a better set of ink (the included ink is fine for practice skin, but not for use on anyone's body unless you want to spend time re-doing work with better ink later). Two of the machines are very heavy in your hand and the others are lighter...I guess its a matter of preference on how heavy you like your machine you're working with. There are other things you will still need to get to work with this kit, but if you are a tattooist then you already know whats missing and if you're apprenticing then you can ask your "boss".
Also, the included video is of poor quality. It's got good information on it, but its from youko, which is like the Japanese (I think) version of the US' youtube.

The machines work flawlessly, although i recommend buying some different ink separately. It is decent ink but not of superb quality. Although it's not listed I received some practice skin with my order which isn't very good. but besides the ink and practice skin. The machines, the power supply, the case, and all of the accessories were way more than worth the price. There was way more in the kit than is listed here!

Syringe tips are great for all types of henna and henna techniques, and are popular for making straight lines with stringy henna. If you use a sugary henna mixture, these are the best tips to use.
