I ordered this product b/c I spend long hours at work but I enjoy drinking vegan powdered shakes. It's so quick to pre-fill the mixer with the desired powdered drink and I usually keep almond milk cold in the breakroom. When it's time to have a shake, I just grab my mixer, add almond milk, mix and go. This is a pretty handy gadget to have but it would be nice if the mixer could blend soft fruits but it isn't that powerful...only meant to mix liquids and powders.

The BEST chopper in the world!, 2010-04-19
I have owned this chopper for 5 years now....threw out the stupid Cuisinart Food Processor. This gizmo chops nuts FAST! Onions...tomaotes...everything. The key is to keep the blade sharp. I am having a heck of a time finding replacement blades though. The only place I have found them is the big flea market in Yuma, Az. In fact, bought my first chopper there years ago. DO NOT BUY THE MODEL that has 2 blades...or even the one with the straight blades. The curved tripple blades make ALL the difference. I have chopped/sliced some veggies with this and used it to squeeze juice, but it's primary use is chopping. I do a killer "chopped salad" and "fresh salsa" with my home grown tomatoes. You can't beat this item...especially for the bucks. I have arthritis pretty bad, but can still use this chopper effectively.
I have one at home and one in the RV...just can't be without it.

Of course the video demonstration made it look perfect. In reality, it is cheaply made and more difficult to use than is desirable. The chopped vegetables in the video look great, but the chop I've gotten has been uneven. The fruits and vegetables get stuck up in the blades. Even when I use a lot of force to dislodge the vegetables from the blades, too much of them remained stuck. Further, I don't even know how much I paid for this because the final price was never quoted. Finally, it arrived without any instructions.
I am not happy with this purchase.

After reading the reviews on here I was really unsure about this product but decided to purchase anyways. I am really glad I did becuase it makes chopping food so much easier. Here's the deal.....YOU HAVE TO REALLY PUT SOME FORCE INTO THE CHOPS. So far I have chopped onions, garlic, fresh parsley and oregano and have had no issues with food sticking to the blade or leaving big clumps.
So if you are half a## hitting the stem you will have all the problems that the other reviewers are having, but as long as you use some force it will work as advertised.

It's A Shame It Looks So Good, 2010-06-08
This looked so well made that I was sure it would be a great nut cracker. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Instead of splitting nuts it punches holes in the shells. I thought it might work as an ice crusher. Nope. Only thing I found I could use it for was opening bottles with very small caps. Such a shame. Maybe someone else found a particular type of nut it works for. (I like pecans.) Or a technique I'm missing.
