I pretty much only use this in my tea. In that application, I recommend that you use less of this than you would sugar since this is very sweet. I never really used sugar in cooking so I don't have a whole lot of suggestions for other ways to use this. It's not the same flavor as sugar, but it is an excellent sweetener.
I know that there are websites that have instructions on how to use stevia for baking and other cooking applications. If that's your thing it would be well worth checking out.

If you are looking for a natural sweetener with low/no calories, give this a try. I love it in hot green tea and in iced tea! I'm on my second box. I used plain Stevia for a while, then upgraded to this product instead. I have known how devasttating suger is to the body. it is a killer & when we found Stevia we were delighted. it is a wonderful product & we have used it for years. I can find no bad reviews on the product. I only wish others realized how better they would be if they incorporated Stevia into their food. we never know the difference by the taste. how sad that we explose our children to something that has been proven to destroy their teeth & feed their alliments.

Like one of the other reviewers, I am kicking a major diet soda habit, and I was looking for something that would offer an alternative to artificial sweeteners, colors, etc. I ordered orange, lime, and cherry Stevita, and the orange is definitely my favorite. I think it tastes a little like Tang, but without that bright orange color. Like others, I go easy on the amount I mix in -- probably using half of what the manufacturer recommends.
The lime is good too, and I especially like it mixed with the YerbaMate Royale instant tea. Both are sweetened with stevia, and the lime flavoring gives the tea some "zing." I mix 1/3 teaspoon tea and 1/4 teaspoon lime Stevita to 25 oz of water. The drink is refreshing and not overly sweet.
The cherry is ok, but definitely not my favorite. I thought it tasted 'artificial,' even though it had no chemicals or preservatives. I'm waiting to try the grape, but it is sold out right now.

I have used Stevia extract as a sugar replacement for a few years now and have found some products to be better than others. Because of its' liquid nature it blends extremely well and I detected absolutely no bitter taste when consuming. I find that combining sugar substitutes gives the sweetness a more well rounded flaver and for a glass of strong iced green tea a few drops of Stevita Co. Inc., Liquid Stevia Extract and 1/8th of a teaspoon of Splenda granules to be sweet tea heaven! I'm buying some more of this great deal right now!

I didn't know what to expect but bought some and put in w/my almond milk (no sweetener) w/fruit and protein powder, added some extra stevia because I like it sweeter and it's great!! Stevia sweetener is the best and only sweetener I will use, other than agave nectar. From the research I've done, it's the only one that is not harmful in any way and wish the FDA would get off their rears and allow companies to add stevia to food. It's alot healthier than sugar in "any" form and alot better than all of those truly chemical artificial sweeteners.
