A reasonably priced toothbrush with features of more expensive models, 2010-03-08
Pros: Affordable, extremely long battery life, automatic turn off after 2 minute brush, comes with travel case
Cons: Replacement heads a bit on the expensive side
The toothbrush comes with one replaceable head, convenient travel case and charge base.
After trying this product for about a month now, every time I use it, I still get that "clean from the dentist" feel. I use it twice a day and can get more than a weeks worth of use before charging the battery.
I noticed there were some comments regarding cleaning the brush heads. It is not that hard, wipe it with a cloth or run the water like any other toothbrush. Unscrew it one a week and clean the inside. It's a great product for the money.

a real tooth saver!, 2010-02-18
This toothbrush has been a real God-send for us. We use it on both our 3 year old daughter and our 2 year old boy (red head for the girl, blue for the boy). Despite diligent manual tooth-brushing, our daughter was having lots of pre-cavity symptoms like discoloration and white spots. After we started using this toothbrush her teeth cleaned right up and her gums look much healthier. The dentist was very pleased with her last check-up.
With our son the problem was a bit different. It took two of us to brush his teeth - one holding him down and the other trying to pry his mouth open and brush. After watching his sister getting brushed with the sonicare, he walked right up and popped his mouth open to be brushed too, and that has continued ever since! We just had his check-up and were told he has excellent oral hygiene.
One of the things that we like best about it is that the 4-7 year old size heads are just the right size, even for our 2 year old (who has been using it since he was 18 months). We had tried the cheaper oral-B electric toothbrushes and though the kids liked the characters on them, the brush heads were so bulky that it was difficult to get on the cheek side of the teeth and the quality of brushing doesn't even begin to compare to the sonicare. I know one of the reviews complains that the handle is too big, but we have not found that to be so. On the occasions that we let our 2 year old try to do his own teeth, he has no problem with the handle either. We are TOTALLY pleased with this toothbrush. We believe the initial cost and brush replacement costs are more than compensated for in savings at the dentists office.

I purchased this electronic tooth brush because my dentist suggested it. I at first hesitated looking at the cost of just 2 replacement heads. I did the math...
First of all the brushing experience is 100 times better! Every day my teeth feel as though they have been cleaned by a dentist. And it performs much better and leaves less plaque which results to many dental issues.
The cost of the replacement heads are far less then an actual dentis bill, even if you have insurance. Well worth the cost for potential issues down the road.

I went to the dentist and they told me I needed a deep cleaning, which costs around $250. I decided to try this toothbrush instead. I used it for two weeks while flossing every night and went back to the dentist. They said all I need know is a normal cleaning. Thank you, Sonicare!

The ultraviolet light disinfection process used by this unit may make some people think it's the latest quack invention, but ultraviolet light is being used in hospitals for disinfection. With H1N1 and other viruses around, it is great to take 10 short minutes to disinfect our toothbrush heads. I love my husband, but don't want to share his toothbrush grunge by storing our toothbrush heads close together in a toothbrush holder! WOW....sleeker design than my previous Sonicare and so much better having the sanitizer attached and not a separate device. Best part of the new design? The fact that you don't have to clean the inside of the unit anymore!!!!!! The new toothbrush just snaps on and you don't have to unscrew the brush head. No interior cleaning--what a pain that was!! Performance of the toothbrush is far superior as well. I highly recommend.

I love this toothbrush. I used to have the Elite Sonicare. I Love the Healthy White sonicare better. The Pro Result tooth brushes are cheaper and easier to put on to the base. It just snaps on easy. I really like the battery in the tooth brush. It is more powerful and stays powerful through several brushings in a day. I did not get the more expensive Sonicare with the ProResults brush head. I did not need all the extra brushing modes. I would most likely not take the time to use all the extra modes, so I decided to get the Healthy White which was cheaper. I Highly recommend this product.
