My husband purchased an expensive temporal thermometer that just could never perform consistently. I love this basic thermometer. Very good value on top quality battery, 2010-08-27
I recently found this package of Duracell batteries on Amazon. I did not realize that they offered a "Subscription Service" where you can have certain items shipped to you on a monthly basis. Actually, you can receive stuff every 2, 3 or 6 months. Well, with a staple item like batteries, I was thrilled to find that they offered the Duracell Coppertop Double A battery in this special service. Having a busy family (with 2 kids ages 12 & under) we burn through batteries. We use them for everything from remotes to toys to flashlights and clocks, etc. It is a pain to pick them up at the store, and not always easy to find a good price on the Duracells. Especially during summers here in South Florida, we get a lot of tropical thunderstorms. Just this afternoon, our power was out for about 2 hours. So especially during Hurricane season, even small storms here will often kick us "off the grid" for a few hours. We NEED to be stocked up with things like batteries! When I saw this Bonus pack here on Amazon, I decided "Hey, why not?" I never thought to have batteries DELIVERED to my home. Pleasant expierience with total package, 2010-08-15
Not very often do I have the time to thank someone when they deserve thanks and in this case YES they deserve my thanks. The Foil and Cutter heads came just in time for my vacation trip and a few days earlier then I expected. This has certainly been a plus the new Foil and Cutter made a world of difference from what a had been using. The shave is smooth and only took a few seconds to replace. I can only give praise to this product and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a better shave. The Braun can't be beat.

I've owned a "Braun 360" for about four years now. While it is definitely the best razor I've ever owned (it glides through my heavy beard even when I skip a day), finding the cartridges for it has always been a hassle and expensive. This 3-pack via Amazon costs less than a 2-pack at the only store near me that sells them. Delivery was quick.

The 18 month warning to replace came up. In the past I have never really felt I got my moneys worth out of replacements. They work good for a few days, then back to what I had originally.
This replacement does not have the blue strip in the middle like the original and a close inspection reveals the screen not to be as nicely and cleanly created as the old one.
When I put it on, I'll update this review.

Great epilator, 2010-09-03
I just got this today and tried it right away because my old epilator broke. I still feel a little pain although I have been using them for a long time. It is not really bad, just a little pain. What I liked the most was the ease of use on my underarms. Even though the hair was small, it took all of the hair off. I also used it lightly on my legs and worked really good. Keep in mind I was just trying it so I did not do the whole job on my legs. I will finish tomorrow. I really like the light because it points to the hair that I would not otherwise seen. This is also not as noisy as my old epilator so that is a plus.
I think I am going to like it very much. It has a great grip and I like the plug because is not too big and I can have something else plugged in the bathroom. I have not used the shaver yet but I will update this review as time goes by. I thought the price was reasonable since I had paid about the same amount for my last epilator about 4 years ago.

After reading some reviews that recommended this replacement instead of the newer one for my old Braun 8585, I gave it a shot. It works perfectly. I've had my shaver for about five years and I don't remember the last time I replaced the cutting block, but this is giving me a noticably better/closer shave. Highly recommended as a replacement for use on the 8585 model.

they are refills of the original brushes that came with the complete unit. they are as advertised, arrived when supposed to, one of the three works well - can't comment on the other two, for their use won't come for months down the line. I would buy the same again from the same source --- which is Amazon, and hopefully with the same business that sent me the ones I received.

My Braun Epilator works very well., 2010-08-29
I purchased the Braun SE3170 Silk-epil SoftPerfection Epilator and had it delivered within 4 days, even though at the time of purchase, I filled it out to be sent using just regular shipping. It works great for me and I am really happy with it, since I have facial hair that must be taken care of about every other day. This product is easy to operate and clean. Well worth the money!!!
