The unlikeliest heroes in any queen's court would have to be janitors Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, who dream of adventure in Disney's animated feature The Three Musketeers and get their wish under dubious circumstances. Though the trio aspires to perform brave deeds on behalf of their monarch, Minnie Mouse (who pines for a fantasy beau that looks a lot like Mickey), they are held back as servants by the head Musketeer, Pete. What they don't know is that Pete secretly schemes to get rid of the queen but has, thus far, failed in his efforts. Desperate, he appoints Mickey and his bumbling friends guardians to Minnie--on the assumption she'll be all the more v...

This direct-to-video sequel (the second) to The Land Before Time suffers from less ambitious animation, but the story is superior to the last film. This time, a meteorite has cut off the water supply to the Great Valley, causing inhabitants to bicker and bully among themselves. By contrast, Littlefoot and his friends are getting along just fine, and they leave the valley to go in search of a new water source. Directed by Roy Allen Smith, who made the The Land Before Time II. --Tom Keogh

It's Chanukah the Rugrats way: Tommy the Macabee, an ancient idol named Cynthia (isn't that the name of Angelica's favorite doll?), and Stu's own turbo-charged menorah, which promises to bring down the house in every sense. This very good holiday special will certainly satisfy Rugrats fans, but also has crossover appeal to anyone looking for a very funny holiday program. --Tom Keogh

In "Angelica the Magnificent," the distaff Rugrat uses a magic kit to make things disappear--such as Tommy's friend, Lil. The real trick is getting her back. Also on this video is "Seven Voyages of Cynthia," in which Tommy and Chuckie know exactly what's become of Angelica's favorite doll, Cynthia, but can't decide if they should tell her. Other stories: "Runaway Angelica" and "Angelica's Worst Nightmare." Rugrat cultists of all ages love their Angelica, and this anthology should please them. --Tom Keogh
