This fourth sequel in the series finds "leaf gobblers" eating all the vegetation in Great Valley, driving Littlefoot, the young brontosaurus, and the other dinosaur inhabitants out. Arguments break out among the adults during migration, and Littlefoot and his friends decide to take matters in their own hands by crossing the "big water" to an unknown island. There they meet an old friend from The Land Before Time II--Chomper, the T-rex, who has to protect the gang from his own, carnivorous parents. I actually have all but one or two of this series. With Great Grandkids coming over..It's nice to be able to introduce them to clean family entertainment! There is a moral in each one if you look and they a all delightful. Have gone through 5 grandkids and 3 great grandkids with this series!

This time, a meteorite has cut off the water supply to the Great Valley, causing inhabitants to bicker and bully among themselves. By contrast, Littlefoot and his friends are getting along just fine, and they leave the valley to go in search of a new water source. Littlefoot and the gang meet a shy newcomer, Ali, but the pleasantries stop there. There's a dire environmental theme to this third sequel in the series, in which the world's weather changes beyond the Great Valley, and what had been dry land is now a "land of mists." The shift brings new creatures who push out older inhabitants, and Littlefoot sees these radical changes for himself when he has to venture into the area to find a medicinal flower for his sick grandfather. While the animation is slow and contained the way direct-to-video cartoon releases often are, the story is sound and the now-familiar characters are memorable. --Tom Keogh

I currently ordered 6 movies of land before time on line using amazon and enjoyed them. They came securely packaged and the discs work fine. I even received one from L.A from a movie rental store a d the disc worked perfectly fine. Also it said that I would received my product 2 months after I placed the ordered but received them all witihin 3 weeks maximum. I enjoy being a amazon customer and continue to purchase things

Another Childhood Favorite!!!, 2010-08-22
Ever since I was a kid, I've loved this movie. I re-watched it earlier, and it took me back to simpler times. It's summer vacation, and the movie shows how each toon spends their vacation. Buster and Babs Bunny spend their time with Byron Basset on the river and try to avoid hillbilly possums and redneck alligators who want to eat them. Plucky Duck goes along with Hamton Pig's family to Happy World Land as he tries to keep his sanity. Fifi Le Fume tries to get Johnny Pew's autogragh, Elmyra tries to get a kitty any way possible, and much more. I highly recommend TINY TOON ADVENTURES: HOW I SPENT MY VACATION!!!
