Amazing Movie, Awesome Special Features, 2010-07-24 I was so happy when this came in the mail. Not only is the story of Mulan heartwarming, courageous, and inspiring, the style of animation and the legend behind the movie is gorgeous as well. In addition, the special features and "Behind the Scenes" info given out made me love the movie even more. What I liked best was seeing all of the concept art that was drawn before deciding on the permanent character designs was chosen. I'd recommend this to any Disney fan.

The whodunit format was a daring new frontier for an animated series, but the members of the Mystery Inc. team have grown to become authentic popular-culture icons. To solve their newest mystery - finding the most awesome Scooby-Doo DVD ever, with 25 vintage episodes and snackin? good extras on 4 discs - you need only follow this simple clue: you?re holding it!
Jinkies, Jeepers and Zoinks!, 2010-07-17 This DVD contains all the episodes of the pioneer Scooby-Doo Where are You. At that time, Hanna-Barbera wanted to create something unique, instead of a typical hero cartoon. Thus, Scooby-Doo was born. It was a unique plot at first, four kids and a dogs going creepy places to solve mysteries, one might even say they were on pot to do such feat. This cartoon is a must-get, since it is the spark that led to Scooby-Doo lasting 40++ years.
The quality and animation might not be smooth compared to Tom & Jerry, but one must remember Hanna-Barbera were on a tight budget and in order to produce many cartoons, quality have to be compromised. Nevertheless, the cartoon have many unique and intelligent jokes, with the voice actors being one of the most talented group at first. Frank Welker as Fred was amazing, so is Heather North, Nicole Jaffe, Casey Kasem and Don Messick in Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby. Again, the cartoon has a creepy vibe to it, thus making it more like a teen to late-teen type of cartoon.
For me, I like mysteries with a horror element added with a tinge of humour, hence this cartoon fits into my itinerary. I must emphasize again, the voice-acting here is GOOD. No other cartoons can have such suitable voices for the right type of characters. Furthermore, the cartoon shows a good reference to the 60s-70s era, with short scenes of a barn party or a beach party, reflective of hippies' lifestyles.
I strongly recommend this to all Scooby fans to add to their collection, cause it is agreed that this is the one of the better cartoon season so far, IMO, although the Scooby-Doo Show is the best due to much better animation.

The most celebrated of all the Disney classics, CINDERELLA, is also known as one of Walt Disney's all-time favorite films. CINDERELLA has enchanted generations with its spellbinding story, charming music, and endearing characters that live in your heart forever. The beloved fairy tale becomes pure Disney magic as beautiful Cinderella shares her dreams of romance and a better life with the lovable mice Gus and Jaq. With a wave of her wondrous wand and a bouncy "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo," the Fairy Godmother transforms a simple pumpkin into a magical coach -- an...
as advertised, 2010-07-14 The product was as promised. No scratches and plays beautifully. The art on the cover is a bit discolored, but that doesn't change the DVD playability.

Double entendre is guaranteed to strike your funny bone, 2010-04-03 I grew up on these presentations and am still growing up on them. They are no more children's stories as "Alice in Wonderland" is. What child knows of the Ruby Yacht of Omar Khayyam? Or Apple Pandowdy. Many other references' are over ones head as a child but still just as much fun to watch.
The show follows a simple formula that starts with a series of cliffhangers starring Rocky and Bullwinkle. You are required not to miss any of the installments to keep track of what is going on. Next in the formula, "Fractured Fairy Tales" I am afraid that this is where I acquired my classical background. Many of the fairy tales have alternate endings. The narrator of the tales is Edward Everett Horton (Mr. Witherspoon in "Arsenic and Old Lace.") then we come to "Bullwinkle's Poetry Corner" or "Mr. Know-it-All" where he meets with many slapstick situations. Again, this is where I picked up my poetic background. Then there is the hat trick (wrong hat), "Peabody's Improbable Histories", "Dudley Do-Right", or "Aesop's and Son." Wrapped all up in 22 minutes with a concluding cliffhanger.
There are more characters in the shows than I can mention in the review but they add to the viewers' enjoyment yet Gidney and Cloyd come to mind.

Well It's Better Than Nothing........., 2010-05-24 I Am Glad To See That Warner Bros. Hasn't Shut Us Out Completely. I Will Be Buying This, But Still Feel Stiffed By WB For Not Completing The Golden Collections. It Was My Understanding That When WB First Announced The Golden Collections, Is That It Was Supposed To Be A Ten Year Run, One Collection A Year For Ten Years. And At The End Of The Ten Years, You Would Have Amassed The Entire Catalog Of Cartoons. Also The Reason For It Being Once A Year For Ten Years, Was To Give WB The Time To Clean And Remaster The Originals From The Vaults Of The U.C.L.A. Film Library And To Spread The Cartoons Out Over The Ten Years So That There Was A Good Amount Of "The Best" Cartoons Released Each Year So That The Casual Collector Would Need To Buy Each Collection In Order To Have All Of The Greatest WB Cartoons. If I Am In Error On This, Feel Free To Let Me Know. My Goal Was To Have The Entire WB Catalog. I Was And Still Am Interested In Getting The Rest Of The WB Catalog That Were Not Released And To Be On Collections 7-10. If This Is The Start Of The Rest Of Them, Then I'll Be Buying Them.

Yes, here on 4 discs you'll find 60 more of the finest, funniest, bestest Golden Era cartoons from the feverishly bent artistic minds at Termite Terrace. Disc 1 showcases a certain wascally wabbit. All 60 toons are restored, remastered, uncut. And each disc is chock-a-block with bonus goodies. It's a 24-carrot g...
Looney Tunes Cartoons, 2010-04-26 While watching the Cartoon Network, along with our grandsons one evening after school, there were some reruns of the Looney Tunes cartoons. What prompted me to purchase these (volume two) was the fact that they would each give great "belly laughs" and both were actually disappointed after the program ended. I decided to purchase these so they could view them anytime they wanted and no matter how many times they view them, they can still give a good laugh. If you enjoy watching some good slap stick comedy in cartoon format, then these will certainly please. Personally, the cartoons of today are lame and uninteresting and the animation & story line are so poor you have a tendency to nod off but not while watching Looney Tunes. They were a favorite during my childhood and remain so to this day and I was happy to see our grandsons enjoy them also.

The Tom-and-Jerry legacy chases through every nook and cranny of the classic animation pantheon, spanning six decades and several famous directors. Looney Tunes icons Friz Freleng, Tex Avery and Chuck Jones all played their part. But the enduring cat-and-mouse team was the brainchild of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Their first short Puss Gets the Boot (in which Tom was called Jasper) was released with little fanfare. Fellow animators did not consider a cat-pursuing-mouse scenario too exciting or original. But when unleashed on exhibitors and audiences, their hilariously diabolical rivalry delighted everyone. This 2-disc set of 40 restored and remastered shorts (along...

At Long Last!!!!, 2010-07-09 As others noted, it's been years since Season Three was released. I had been wondering if sales were so poor that the rest of R&B would remain lost, but no, at long last, here's Season Four! You simply cannot go wrong with these shows! Often much more intellectual humor than you would suspect; it's not just a kids' show, but a funny look many aspects of society of the time. Jay Ward rules ;)

And now, 56 of the very best animated shorts starring the very wackiest Warner Bros. cartoon characters have been rounded up on DVD for the first time ever in The Looney Tunes Golden Collection! Just barely contained in four special edition discs, each specially selected short has been brilliantly restored and re-mastered to its original, uncut, anvil-dropping, laughter-inducing glory!
